How to make a good carp reel last a lifetime...

Shimano carp fishing reels are among the best in the world. I use them, and have
done for many years. You can see some of their excellent range by clicking here.
As well as making excellent carp reels, Shimano have also made some excellent
carp fishing videos and shared them on YouTube.
In this clip, Jan porter explains a bit about reel maintenance. I'll be honest,
I hardly ever touch my Shimano baitrunners and, apart from the time I fell on
top of them and bent two of the handles, they've never let me down! However,
with the tips in this video, I'm sure they'd last me a  lifetime.
