Hailed by many carp anglers as the classic big pit reel, the XTA version includes the Baitrunner Spool System which puts it way above other reels in its class.

The Shimano Biomaster XTA features Cold Forged Aluminium spool, traditional large powerful crank handle, 2-Speed Oscillation and Aero Wrap for a superlative line lay. The reel is also equipped with 3 A-RB bearings and a Roller Bearing for a 7 ball bearing equivalent and the whole awesome package is topped off with a spare XT7 Graphite spool.
